Workshops: Conscious Aging in an Unconscious Culture

Service Description

Mary Hamilton, of Labyrinth Jungian Coaching, is holding a 3 part small group workshop for those interested in the aging process to consider and share the challenges and opportunities that aging offers. We will explore the Wise Woman Archetype, how it has evolved over millennia and what it may offer us. We will read fairy tales, look at works of art, and talk about our own dreams (both night time and waking) of elder-hood. We will investigate what age-ist thoughts we ourselves may hold that we are presently unaware of. Ultimately we will come to a deeper understanding of ourselves and our roles as elders in our culture. Any age is welcome, just be interested in your aging process. We will meet the first 3 Mondays in November starting on the second, from 6:30-8:00 pm at the Rock Point School Library in Burlington, 1 Rock Point Rd, Burlington, VT. 8 spots available.
